Terms of Service
Updated August 26, 2026
Agreement
By purchasing or using CacheLens ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Software.
License Grant
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CacheLens on the number of Mac devices specified by your purchased tier (1 Mac for Single Dev, up to 3 Macs for Power Dev). This is a one-time purchase; no recurring fees apply.
What CacheLens Does
CacheLens scans local developer and AI tool caches on your Mac, classifies items into Safe / Review / Protect risk tiers, and allows you to move selected items to Trash. All scanning and classification happens locally on your device. CacheLens does not transmit file paths, filenames, or scan results to any server.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing items before deletion. CacheLens provides risk classifications and explanations to help you make informed decisions, but final deletion decisions and their consequences are your responsibility. We recommend reviewing "Review" and "Protect" tier items carefully before taking action.
No Warranty
CacheLens is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software is error-free or that classifications are always accurate. Cache tool layouts may change over time; CacheLens is designed to fail closed (downgrade to Review) when classification rules cannot be verified, but no automated system can guarantee perfect accuracy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the CacheLens developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software, including but not limited to data loss.
License Termination
We reserve the right to revoke a license in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or violation of these terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
